Did Beverly Fire Bill Over The Issue Of AANR Nudist Clubs Evaluations?
For those who have been following the story we wrote about: Beverly B. Price president of AANR Fired Bill Schroer – WTF?!?! Here is what we have had the opportunity to find out so far.
I would like to start by noting that I’ve repeatedly attempted to get some tips from the American Association For Nude Recreation – AANR directly about why Beverly Price fired Bill Schroer. Unfortunately, AANR had issued a gag order for those involved so none of them were willing to talk to me about it. But from discussions I’ve had and after reading their recent website update, here is what I could piece together.
The fundamental facts haven’t changed. Beverly Price did fire Bill, and after realizing that she did not have the power to fire him, AANR called a board meeting to vote on the problem (that’s the reverse order of how it should have occurred, which is in violation of the AANR bylaws). The vote, from what I understand wasn’t unanimous – 10 people voted in favor of Bill’s conclusion while 4 voted against it.
AANR has not clarified why he was let go. Many people have alluded to the fact that it was because Bill was advocating for the inclusion of lifestyle and swinger clubs into the AANR network. Seeing as how AANR is the credible voice for “Nude Recreation,” I could see how adding lifestyle nightclubs would make sense. But that’s actually a false statement!
Bill only recommended for a rating system. The dilemma of lifestyle clubs becoming AANR-affiliated was beyond the extent of his recommendation. In effect what was promised – that he was advocating for the admission of lifestyle clubs – is bogus. Bill was just developing these to the extent that the board could make an educated choice. He took no unilateral decisions on any of this.
What Bill proposed was a rating system for naturist resorts and naturist clubs. The naturist club rating system could be in comparison to the Motion Picture Association of America film rating system. I will give you a general example of how that might work.
A rating system would be in place for clubs depending on the amount of adult activity present at that club.
AANR naturist clubs like Rock Lodge and Juniper Woods would get an equivalent rating of “G” (as in kid-friendly and for everyone).
Other AANR naturist clubs that could have more of a lifestyle / swinger presence, but where no sexual conduct really occurs out in the open would function as the equivalent of an “R” or “PG13.”
The last AANR naturist clubs evaluation class, the “NC17” or “X” rating, would be set aside for the recently additional lifestyle type. Those would be nightclubs like Caliente or possibly Hedonism.
The notion behind the development of an AANR naturist clubs rating system would not be to urge for more sex at nudist clubs. The thought is to have the ability to align the expectations of future visitors with the reality of what that nightclub actually offers. While most nightclubs claim they are “family-friendly,” the reality is they may not be.
Again, it is all conjecture, but it appears like Beverly and Bill didn’t see eye to eye on this point. This was more than likely what led to her decision to fire him.
This brings up two interesting points about the way in which this whole issue has been handled.
A – Does everyone have to agree 100% with the AANR president if they want to keep their jobs? In my book, all organizations must be receptive to new thoughts. The firing of Bill, if the preceding is in fact correct, is a sign that if you have thoughts which may be considered “out of the box,” afterward AANR will get rid of you quickly!
Seemingly, AANR’s numbers have now been declining fast so one would believe they might be enthusiastic to hear new ideas and approaches. But as we understand all too well, that is not the MO of AANR – it’s AANR’s way or the highway (which explains why they have not evolved or adapted to the changes in society).
B – Most organizations whom I know of would issue an official statement when a high ranking exec is let go. This transparent strategy is check it if the organization wants the support of its members.
Folks support organizations (not only naturist organizations) because they believe in what they do. So to all the AANR members – Why are not you calling, e-mailing or doing whatever you can to get to the bottom of this? It’s also wise to be needing that AANR tell you exactly what they’re doing and why.
This can be your right as a dues-paying member – you ought to know how AANR is spending your hard-earned money.
(Full disclosure – this doesn’t apply to me personally as I’ve not been an AANR member for the last handful of years).
Thus, in final, please comment below! Allow me to know your thoughts on any or every one of the following:
Do you agree with the need to implement a rating system for AANR nudist clubs?
Can you concur that http://nudists-young.org/contri/pin-beach-party-fucking-pics.php should have been let go? If so, then why? If not, then why?
If you’re paying dues as a member of AANR, does one know what AANR is expressly doing with your money?
If you have any insight or know something I do not, then please let me know!
If I was mistaken in anyway about the facts – I’d like to understand! (I am only going based on what I could find out and could not get Beverly to give a public statement).
Please be aware the opinions and views expressed above are solely my own and don’t reflect the official views or position of Young Naturists & Nudists America FKK. Any problems you may have with regards to this post should be directed at me personally and not at FKK – Thank you.
